Private Cabin Accommodations

You get much more than just a bedroom at our ranch. When you reserve one of our cabins, you get to enjoy your own stunning panoramic view of the timbered Salmon River Mountains and the magnificent Johnson Creek Valley. Each of our cabins is light and airy and has its own distinct ambiance. Carpeted and comfortably furnished, our rentals are electrically heated and boast functional wood-burning stoves that rest on a stone hearth. You will find your cabin scrupulously clean with decor that is warm and inviting.

Additionally, each unit has separate bedrooms, a modern bath, large living room, and a fully equipped kitchen to make your stay enjoyable. The living rooms in the cabins are furnished for relaxing (both mind and body) with a sofa, easy chairs, and convenient tables.

A game or dining table sits just in front of the picture window in each cabin. This way you can indulge yourself with a quiet afternoon nap or host a gathering of new friends. The fully equipped kitchens boast refrigerators, ranges with ovens, microwaves, toasters, and coffeemakers with all the kitchen paraphernalia you need to prepare complete meals.

Nearby Attractions

Wapiti Meadow is just far enough off the beaten path to offer a wilderness atmosphere, but close enough to the main "byway" in Idaho (Route 55) to be easily accessible with an hour's drive over good paved mountain "highway" and then only 16.5 miles of gravel road.

We are also just 4 miles upstream from the Cadillac of backcountry airstrips, Johnson Creek Airport. As a result, pilots can fly to Johnson Creek just downstream from our ranch. We will provide pick up and return to the airstrip as well as local transportation for fishing, accessing off-ranch trails, or the mountain village of Yellow Pine.
